Searching for a new liver; traveling for transplant (WHYY)

I met Seth Doraiswami, a 33 year old guy from Boston, when he was desperate for a liver transplant. A condition he had since birth called biliary atresia had finally caught up with his body and he was going to need a transplant to survive. For months, I followed Seth as he navigated incredibly complex organ transplant systems and traveled out of state in hopes of finding better chances.

Throughout his journey Seth kept an audio diary, which you can hear interspersed in this 10 minute piece
